Wow, where did the summer go? It’s almost September, which means it’s time for our newsletter, general meetings, and other club activities to start up again. A lot has been going on, and a lot more is coming up, so start by getting an update from the September issue of Zero Beat.
On Friday, September 6th, we’ll be having our first general meeting of the Fall season. It’ll be in the usual spot. The doors open at 19:00 for socializing, coffee, and donuts, and then the meeting itself starts at 19:30. This month, we’ll have a presentation from Orv Beach, W6BI, who will tell us all about the Amateur Radio Emergency Data Network. We’ll also livestream the meeting on Zoom, so watch your inbox for the link.
As always, everyone is welcome at our meetings and on our email list, whether you’re an experienced ham radio operator, a newcomer who was just licensed, or just someone curious to learn what all this radio stuff is about. We look forward to seeing you all.
