Visiting family this weekend 8/22/21 and so attempted to check into the 10 meter net using my Yaesu FT-818ND and 40 meter 1/2 wave end fed antenna. Power output only 2 watts, yet net control did hear my location: ‘Amherst’ but that was all. He was in Chicopee…
After living in an apartment for over 2 years with no HF antennas those foreign broadcast stations on 40 meters never sounded so good…..
