WHAT to BRING:
a. FCC Registration Number (FRN). This can be obtained at:
https://www.arrl.org/news/
There is no fee to obtain an FRN.
b. Positive Identification: Either ONE legal photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc) or TWO forms of written ID; (utility bill, birth certificate, etc.)
.c, If presently licensed: Your ORIGINAL license AND A PHOTOCOPY. Your original license will be returned to you after registration, the copy goes with your FCC Application (FCC #605) form.
d. $15 ARRL/VEC test fee: Payable with cash only.
Your test fee allows you to take one exam (new or upgrade) and any subsequent upgrades during this session. If you fail your first exam you may take another for an additional $15 if time permits.

Exams are proctored by the Western Massachusetts VE Team (WMVET) and are conducted the fourth Friday of every month throughout the year at this location. Pre-registration is not required but always welcome.
