The Hampden Country Radio Association (HCRA) is holding classes and study groups for those interested. With a combination of these classes and at-home studying, it&#8217;s possible to make it happen. Due to the short amount of time, it&#8217;s up to the candidate to do most of the studying at home before attending the classes. The classes will cover the exam questions, provide some details about the questions and help you to better understand the material needed to pass the exam.<\/del><\/p>\n<p><del>Even though it&#8217;s not required, it&#8217;s suggested that you purchase and use the latest edition of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arrl.org\/shop\/Ham-Radio-License-Manual-3rd-Edition\/\" target=\"_blank\">ARRL&#8217;s Ham Radio License Manual (Level 1\/Technician) <\/a>to study. Other alternatives can be found online like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kb6nu.com\/tech-manual\/\" target=\"_blank\">KB6NU&#8217;s No-Nonsense study guides<\/a>.
